Cowrie Medical Clinic
Established in 2015, the Cowrie Medical Clinic comprises a group practice of seven family physicians and two specialist physicians, who are supported by a committed, professional team of four staff.
Every team member is dedicated to providing a safe and friendly environment, and exemplary service to all patients. We strive to ensure all our patients feel welcome, safe, and cared for.
Our facility features five exam rooms in its main office, and six exam rooms in a secondary office, located just behind the main building.
Staff services include appointment bookings, patient reception, specialist referrals, medical transcription, medical equipment and supplies ordering and updating, exam room provisioning and cleaning, and one-on-one assistance to patients.
Cowrie Medical Clinic is conveniently located in downtown Sechelt, with cafes, boutiques, a pharmacy, and a grocery store within easy walking distance.
It is located less than 5-minutes by car from Sechelt Hospital.
The Cowrie Medical Clinic is a training site for 2nd Year UBC Family Practice Residents and 3rd and 4th Year Medical Students offering teaching opportunities to interested physicians.
