Upstream Family Medical Centre
The Upstream Family Medical Centre is a family practice of seven physicians, located in Wilson Creek (halfway between Gibsons and Sechelt).
Established in 1992, Upstream’s four family physicians deliver comprehensive healthcare to their own patient panels, as well as same-day medical services to “walk-in” patients.
Our team also includes three specialists, who provide pediatric, and obstetric and gynecological care.
Upstream’s physician team is supported by seven highly experienced and pro-active Medical Office Assistants, who are dedicated to providing knowledgeable, compassionate care to our patients. Together, our MOAs look after appointment bookings, patient reception, scanning and receiving incoming results, specialist referrals, billing, ordering of medical supplies and equipment, provisioning exam rooms and one-to-one patient assistance.
Conveniently located in a busy shopping plaza, Upstream provides easy access to a range of retail and dining services, including a pharmacy, grocery store, café, and sushi restaurant. Additionally, Sechelt Hospital is just 10 minutes away by car.
The Upstream Medical Clinic is a training site for 2nd Year UBC Family Practice Residents and 3rd and 4th Year Medical Students offering teaching opportunities to interested physicians.
